If this is true, we all know that it'll be another 5 rounds of using Nelson's head for a speed bag but you know what, fuck it war Big Country

Werdum or Bigfoot would be the most logical replacements is a number one contender match. Hunt, Barnett, Cormier, hell even Carwin and Nogueira are closer to being contenders than Big Country at this point.

I'm hoping this is the motivator we need to see Big Country lose the weight and hit his potential in the division.

Nobody has dispelled this rumor yet?
I like Nelson, but what a terrible idea.
A lot of people were rallying around Hunt for a title shot. I didn't really agree with that, but Hunt deserves a number one contenders shot more than Nelson. And Werdum. And Rothwell. And the winner of Cormier and Barnett. And probably Browne. And maybe Fedor.
Nah, Fedor vs Nelson probably seems about right at this point.

I love Roy.
But i'm sorry, this sucks. Not only that it's deemed a number one contender's match, for either of them, but that Roy is filling in against Cain. I'm a fan of Roy but he needs a step down in competition right now. There are so many other good fights for him at HW.
Cain doesn't deserve the rematch with one win over Roy. If Roy were to win this fight, it would be his best win, but he still would need a couple more fights. As it's already been pointed out, his record isn't shining right now.

If Guillard won he was(mysteriously) getting a title shot, Lauzon destroys him, and Lauzon is barley top10. Im sure theres more, thats just the first one that comes to mind.
Im thinking this would be the same scenario. If Cain wins then yeah I could see him getting the next shot, but if Roy sowhow wins then hes going to need another big win before he gets his title shot.

Guida won, but was still forced to fight Bendo.

Now that im sober I have this to say: This is a Dana White plan. Cain has all to gain, Roy has most to lose. Cain wins, gets number one contender and Roy is once again on the chopping block with 2 losses in a row. And almost everyone would say Cain has all the advantages over roy.
