training camps are getting too long and strenuous....
Fighters need to actively be fighting more times a year and not going thru these hardcore training camps for 3-4 months if they dont even already go longer than that, the human body cant just keep absorbing all that with no chillaxation y'know?. Just my 2cents.
but
im sure all these guys just like myself know their limits, so really I reckon its all on the fighter and how "THEY" want to train.

| With champ Aldo out, UFC 148's Faber-Barao title fight moves to UFC 149
Link: With champ Aldo out, UFC 148's Faber-Barao title fight moves to UFC 149 | MMAjunkie.com Quote:
The UFC's injury bug has become a bona fide monster.
After a series of injuries forced changes and cancellations to some of the biggest UFC fights of the summer, the organization has lost another.
UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (21-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) is injured out of UFC 149's headliner, and UFC 148's interim-bantamweight title fight between Urijah Faber (26-5 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and Renan Barao (28-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has taken the UFC 149 main-event slot.
The nature of Aldo's injury wasn't disclosed, but his title fight with Erik Koch (13-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has been "postponed," meaning a replacement likely won't be sought.
UFC 149 takes place July 21 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. UFC 148, meanwhile, takes place July 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Both air on pay-per-view.
Faber and Barao now have an extra two weeks to prepare for the interim title fight, which was put together when reigning bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz was injured and forced out of a fight with Faber. Their trilogy match was supposed to follow their recent coaching stints on "The Ultimate Fighter: Live." When Cruz scratched due to a knee injury this past month, Barao ultimately was chosen as a replacement from a list of candidates that also included Ivan Menjivar and Michael McDonald.
UFC officials have not disclosed what fight will take Faber and Barao's spot as the new UFC 148 co-headliner.
Aldo's injury is the latest in a series that's included Cruz, Vitor Belfort, Brian Stann, Thiago Silva and Michael Bisping in recent weeks.

Literally 4/5 of the main card fights have been scratched, and one hasn't even been able to be replaced with another fight
