Wanderlei Silva, father Holando Pinheiro da Silva, died in a car accident this afternoon. The accident occurred in the Castro area, where the fighter's father lived. The body was taken to the Forensic Institute of Ponta Grossa, in the Campos Gerais region.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to Wanderlei and the entire Silva family... I cannot fathom how it would feel to get this news other than I would be absolutely devestated, my condolences for what they are worth :(
