RUMOR: End of Days for Strikeforce???
 

The rumors have begun. Non of these reports have been verified, but several MMA reporters are Tweeting about "hearing" stuff about the future of Strikeforce.

Obviously, it only takes one bogus rumor to get the misinformation snowball rolling down the hill, so take these reports with a grain of salt:

I hope they cancel DC vs Mir so I can get my money back on the tickets.

Jeezus, if they can pull out Rockhold, Melendez, Jacare, Mousasi, Cormier, Kennedy and a few others, put a bullet in the entire Showtime relationship and move on, I think we could get some amazing matchups and add some great depth to many divisions.

This would definitely benefit fans of MMA.

I follow a bunch of MMA names on Twitter that I actually like and correspond with from time to time and from what I've read on their timelines, nearly all of the them have been non-committal on the issue.

I'll hold my breath, but Mousasi and Jacare FINALLY fighting for the UFC would give me a boner.
