MMA News Forums - UFC Macau "China" Prelims not actually available in Mainland China

The UFC will be coming to "China" for the first time as they have their Macao show this weekend. There are FB prelims on the card as usual. The problem with the UFC using only FB as an outlet as they expand into China is that Mainland China doesn't have access to it.

The irony continues as the UFC usually have Zhang on FB prelims to "increase his exposure". If the UFC really plans to tap this market, they are going to have to take these things into consideration (or at least notice them). I believe Vietnam is in a similar situation. With Cung headlining the show, this may be a missed opportunity.

I appreciate the idea of prelims on FB, and I'm sure it is a wonderful promotional tool, but as it stands, I have actually had to purchase UFC Macao as an iPPV, and I still won't have access to the prelims.

I used to watch the FB prelims on ufc.tv, but that option appears to be gone. I hope the UFC will return this option at some point. If nothing else, at least they could give access to those who PURCHASE the event.
