"I'll fight Randy any day, as long as it doesn't ever really happen."
If Steven Seagal is knocked silly in the middle of the ring, but no one is around to see it, does it really happen?

rh The 205 part I wrote is what you responded with"More recently, he simply said he wanted to take time off and wouldn't fight again in 2012. This prompted Weidman--who'd been announced as the #1 contender, but hadn't been offered a fight--to take an elective surgery on his elbow to get him back to 100% in preparation for a bout. Once Chris was off the table, Anderson offered to save UCF 151: Un-sinkable, like the Titanic, and when that was, to bolster 153 when it was hampered by injuries"
On Andersons ribs would a post fight physical show the rib injury in his suspension? I stand corrected looked it up @ MMAjunkie.com And Anderson got 6 months for the rib or clearence. I apologize for not looking it up first as we should.

Granted, the UFC is completely different now, but skills not size is the ultimate decider IMO. GSP probably would have the best skill set of all the fighters Silva has faced to this point. | When 2 fighters are skilled, size is a huge factor.
GSP may beat some guys in the MW division that are way less skilled than he is. But he would be in a world of trouble against somone like Anderson who is very very skilled.
As well as for Anderson, he can beat some guys in the LHW division, but he would have a very hard time beating Jones...just as Jones would have a very hard time beating Cigano.
Skill is the most important thing, but when 2 fighters are equally skilled, the size can be the ultimate decider.

| Randy Couture Responds To Steven Seagal's Fight Request - FightLine.com Quote: |
"I'm the one that started the joke as an off-handed comment I made to Jay Glazer - that I'd only come out of retirement if it were to fight Seagal," Couture said. "Obviously now somebody has talked to him about it and it has gotten some legs. I'm not surprised that he wants to do it in a private, remote location where nobody could see it happen. Obviously I intended it as a joke. I don't think it would really happen."

Asked if he was intimidated by Seagal’s claim that the fight would be truly no holds barred, Couture neatly replied, “I don’t think that changes the nature of the fight at all.”

Wow, the things you fail to see...

There is a method to the madness. | If Seagal is a master, then GSP should not be called great. There should be a new word created that is 100,000,000,000 levels above master, and that is what GSP should be called.
