If women fighters want to be considered with the men, you need to take the W away from WMMA. Otherwise, its just another kitchen..
Manon Rhéaume, Michelle Wie, Danica Patrick...
I guess all Im saying is, FIGHT OPPRESSION!

I guess all Im saying is, FIGHT OPPRESSION! | Why don't we just add female football players to the NFL while we are at it. Lets go around to all the local prisons and sign up the biggest female guards possible and let them play in the NFL as tight ins.

And if women want to play football, then yes, professional should be in the NFL.
And for the record, one of my better friends in my 20's was a girl who used to play defensive tackle for one of the local high school senior teams. We worked club security together, and she was tough as nails. She managed to compete with males, why cant other athletes?
Kind of amusing that you jumped right to prison guards too.. Lots of personal experience with large females in the penal system I assume?

All it will take is one of them getting their leg or ankle snapped before all hell breaks lose. In MMA it would simply take watching one female get KTFO or ground and pounded from mount position.
I know this is probably acceptable behavoir in the hills but most of America wouldn't be able to mentally handle watching a female get man handled.

Every fighter risks injury or KO every time they compete. Ask your boy rampage, he's a pro or something isnt he? Why should women be different?
How many different guys here have said they train with women? If they can train co-ed, why not compete? A truly gifted athlete should be able to overcome gender stereotypes.
Then again, for a sad example of a human who spends his entire life looking for colour differences, expecting you to overlook gender bias is probably asking a lot.

I guess I should be thankful that intelligent discussions (generally-speaking) actually do take place on this forum, and that it's actually pretty rare for a thread to devolve into flame wars and name-calling, but I'm quite surprised we're actually discussing dudes fighting women as if it's a plausible possibility.
The physical and biological differences are too distinct for inter-gender fighting to ever be possible, whether we look at it from the point of view of the governing bodies (at least in the states), the Doctors whose duty it is to oversee the safety of the fighters, or even the referee's. Would we see "fair" stoppages or would ref's subconsciously let fights go on longer when a guy is taking punishment, but be a little too trigger-happy if a woman was taking a beating.
Personally I could never stomach seeing a dude hitting a woman, and I'm sure a majority of men would refuse to fight them, too (at least I'd hope they would). Interesting concept - hypothetically - but not something I'd like/hope to see in the future.

I guess some of us here had a proper upbringing.
I am actually surprised even someone like you would find that idea somewhat foreign.
