Yes he can, and maybe one day he will surpass Fedor. But he still needs to do some things to achieve that. So far, Fedor is without a doubt the best HW ever. |
With no creditable title defences under his belt why is this even a question today |
Ohhh Bleacher Report... |

You see for example a guy that has achieved 2 quick KOs and people begin saying that he would KO the champ, they ask how this guy would do against great boxers, that he he probably has the best boxing ever. Cain Velasquez is my opinion is a very very very good fighter, and one day indeed he may become the GOAT of the HWs, but it is still too early to talk about it. |
To soon. |
Ahhh, the realm of hypotheticals, these threads are great. In the realm of hypotheticals? Yes, absolutely, Cain can surpass Fedor as the best heavyweight ever. But, in the realm of hypotheticals, so can I. Maybe there should be a poll: Who's more likely to surpass Fedor as the GOAT, Cain? or Blobfish? My vote goes to Cain, but you can't discount me. |
Yeah, too soon to tell. However, I don't see it happening. |
The real question here is can Cain's grandson surpass Fedor's son? I say yes, and his win over Robo Rogan will be a great start. (I assume Joe Rogan will combine his love of science and his love of mma to turn himself into the perfect fighting machine) |
