Bungee Jumping Equipment

I am wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase just a regular bungee cord at for really cheap that I will be using for training purposes with my clients. We WILL NOT be bungee jumping.

What I will be doing is harnessing them up and having them sprint for a distance as fast as they can and then have good resistance behind them THAT I WILL BE IN CONTROL OF versus the parachute method.

Know what I mean?

This is what I will be using as a harness: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0651&rd=1&rd=1

The strap that came with it is just the solid fabric without any give at all.

I hope all this makes sense.

Thanks,

Bob

You could try something like this, but I dunno how much resistance it actually has:

I don't think that will work as it is very thin and probably won't stretch enough. I want something that stretches as a really big rubber band would. Does that make sense?

I just found what I was looking for through a rabbit hole of a few sites. :)

Here it is: http://jumpstretch.com/osc/product_i...products_id=98

Thanks for everyone's help.

Ahh I was a little off on what you were looking for. If you don;t mind using bands, www.ironwoody.com had decent prices (remember the prices are for pairs of bands0.

I just recently ordered a full set from them as I moved into an apartment and don't have room for any serious weights.

What's the best place to buy simple exercise bands for me to train my clients with instead of dumbbells? You know the common bands found in many gyms. I am looking for bulk of about 20+ because I run a boot camp.

Thanx

I would say probably Amazon. You can buy the tubing in bulk rolls like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Thera-Band-Exe...662885&sr=8-28

Then you would just and to put some handles on them somehow (or do something like tie them into loops)
