Default Bas Rutten MMA Workout?

Yo!, im starting school again, that means work, and school. Not easy to balance training at the same time, so i'm downloading the Bas Rutten MMA workout, and thinking of switching gyms. I dont know if i'll have time but Mark Bocek is giving classes at a gym near my house so might go there. (Not name dropping or am I). Anyways i wanted to know how effective his MMA workout is if anybodys ever used it.

The different CDs are great for cardio and that sort of stuff but there is no real technique training involved. So it kinda depends on what your looking to get out of it.MMA Spot

Yeah, I'm with Clint on this. I love these CDs for pushing cardio but you won't learn any technique per se. You may improve reflexes and fluency of certain combos but you need to keep training skills specifically.

As an example, my left hook went to shit when I was mostly doing these workouts just cos I was trying to get it fast & the whole idea of Bas's workouts is to tire you out, therefore technique can become sloppy.

I love these workouts when I'm struggling for motivation - Bas's shouting just keeps me going, oh & be sure to mix them about as they can get too easy once you get used to a particular one.
