I will try the slow-digesting protein combo... thanks for the tip.
I have been using NO Extreme for a few weeks now and have liked it so far. I was taking SuperPump Max (the successor to SP 250.. I actually liked 250 better but it is discontinued now) but I wanted to try a non-creatine pre workout supplement b/c I felt I was retaining too much water. Always looking to try new stuff though, so will give the casein a try soon

I'm big into working out in the gym, and I also train Karate and Muay Thai. I would recommend Pump Fuel, I'm no nutrition, it's just what has worked the best for me. I've used NO-Xplode, Jacked and a couple others and have always had the best results in lifting and training with Pump Fuel

I've been using Assault for weeks now and I think it works great. I've gone through 3 tubs already. I ordered Myofusion and got 2 free samples of Superpump MAX so I'm going to be trying those for the next few weeks and see how it compares.

I stick to Controlled Labs Purple Wrath, it's a BCAA complex with a solid ingredient profile; it's not an NO product.
When I do want a pre-workout stim, I take CL's White Flood, I don't believe any of these NO products offer anything other than a stimulant effect and a placebo effect, but sometimes the preworkout pickmeup is nice.
These NO products are generally geared around the same things these days, a vitamin B complex, niacin, caffeine, and 1,3 dimethylamylamine or its derivatives.
Those, and arganine alpha ketoglutarate; but the research showing its effects as a vasodilator is kind of lacking in any meaningful sense; although there is some research suggesting it aids in protein absorption.

The truth is that if you're one of 99% of people, you are training properly, and are consuming isolate and/or BCAA's right after a workout, then you really don't need anything else "aiding" protein absorption. It's just marketing nonsense IMO.
If you're getting bored with your supplements and need to spice things up give it a whirl, but I'd never make it a staple or cut into my casein, isolate, and BCAA budget for any of it.

and use your BRAIN, Leucoethiops, if your body is able to handle 5X5 AT 230 LBS do you SERIOUSLY think it's NATURAL and HEALTHY for you to take SYNTHETIC SHIT (without enough research done on it, even if it is FDA, which is a joke and ran by private companies just like the USDA, approved because you can't study 30+ results of NO not to mention creatine WITH DANGEROUSLY HIGH LEVELS OF CAFFEINE IN IT WHEN THE PRODUCT HASN'T BEEN ON THE MARKET MORE THAN 5, now can you?) and push you past your plateau...
k, i'm going to share some articles since you don't wanna google and this is from an MMA site actually so
Medical Beat: FDA issues warning about America's top supplement line Ask the Fight Doc: Are OTC performance-enhancing products legal and safe in MMA?
p.s. I am not holier than thou, I am simply someone who has been there and done that and studied past the marketing b.s.
I also had two friends OD to the point where we had to call EMTs for them, one by simple using 2 grams too much of Superpump 250 and the other by using about 1/3 of a scoop too much of NO Xplode...
