Any fighters here? What would a good diet be for a fighter(not during camp) To keep as lean as possible, but still have a ton of energy for all the training? |
not much different than a regular Joe Shmoe...whole foods, tons of non-starchy veggies, protein, nuts, seeds, healthy fats (EVOO, coconut, avocado), and depending on the physical demands; carbohydrates in the forms of starchy veggies and perhaps some quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth. |

Im sick of eating like a slob... Im not overweight, and have a lower body fat% but could get it down a little. If I didnt do so much, I would probably be a fat slob... I do boxing, muay thai, running, and weightlifting throughout the week thank for the help. |
Clean bro. Lots of Protein and carbs to keep up your energy. |
ah yeah, good ol' "protein and carbs" lmao |
Rampage, have you had any of your fights yet? How is that going? As for dieting I have been trying to do that reward day thing (dan c was talking about it in a thread). Eat good for 6 days and then drink and eat like I used to on the 7th. |

I have already done boxing and MT... I really need to step up my grappling game... BJJ is decent, but really need to step up wrestling... I wish i could learn it from the ground up, rather than in bits and pieces like MMA gyms will do it, but cant go back in time and take it in school. |

You get them prescribed or you get them elsewhere? |
Horse meat or hot dogs (lips and assholes according to Dan Akeroid). Of course I have no idea. A decent source of Protein (I think) is beef jerky. |
