I'm not going to sit back and pretend like I thought Sean Taylor was some great man, but this is a tragedy to say the least. NFL players and athletes altogether have the ability to touch so many lives that I really hate to see stuff like this happen. RIP Sean Taylor and our thoughts are with your family.

Sad but the mystery behind his death is so strange. Someone broke into his house eight days before his shooting and his house didn't have any type of security system. And of course the man was shot in his own home. I can't remember an athlete going down like that. Usually it's a outside incident like going clubbing or something like that.

There's been a rash of pro athlete robberies and such here lately. Eddy Curry, Antoine Walker, etc. I just hope that Taylor had left the streets where they belong- on the streets.

You know, this is unrelated to Sean Taylor, but I remember an absolutely fantastic line from "From Dusk Till Dawn" by Harvey Keitel's character. "Are you such a loser that you can't tell when you've won?" This sums up a lot about the issues guys like Vick, Ricky Williams, PacMan Jones, Tank Johnson etc. They are making millions doing what they supposedly love and they still act like they need to hustle money and live street life. YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED. CUT THE SHIT. ENJOY REAL LIFE.
