Pretty brutal!! Reminds me of Clint Malarchuck, back in '88 (I think it was 88 anyways) At the 20 second mark of the video, you can see the thick trail of blood from the corner to the bench.
Apparently Zednik had surgery, and will be ok.

I saw this last night, i didnt believe it at first.... never a pretty site to see
lets hope he has a speedy recovery and gets back on the ice as soon as possible

I couldnt see the video because of a copyright claim. But I hope this guy the best.

yeah he's fine now. Done for the year but he's ok. He went to the hospital and was in stable, then was upgraded to good after surgery. The OHL and some other minor leagues have the neck guard rule in place now.
