The Lions weren't terrible last year. They went 7-9 which is far from worst. They had an easy schedule the first half of the year and it showed, and a brutal schedule the last half . . . and it showed. I'd put the Lions somewhere around .500 again this year. I like the Lions. It sucks they've been rebuilding since the 50's.

I do like your pick with the Bengals though. They definitely have what it takes. It just depends on the level of dysfunction. This is a make or break year for them. If all hell breaks loose this year, heads will roll and there will be firings.
Personally, I think Marvin Lewis should already be fired. I think they need a strict coach who takes shit from no one. They have great players, they just need a defense and a leader of a coach.

I actually took a bet in Vegas of the Lions making the playoffs last year. I put $100 on it with 150:1 odds. It looked good until the sencond half of the season. If they could find a running game, they may surprise people. Their division is not strong at all.

The NFC North could be VERY TOUGH. The Packers will be good, the Vikings will be competitive because of A. Peterson and that defense and the Bears are a wildcard. You never know what will happen with them.

I hope the Lions do well. It's hard liking them but I do.

Haha, no kidding. Sanders was their only reason to have any hope the past few decades. I still don't know Millen is around there though.
