its just swimming buddy, anyways yeah, he broke the great Mark Spitz Record of 7 medals and 7 world records. He got 8 medals and from what dork says 7 worl records. Quite an athlete and thats really impressive...

If it were just swimming, there wouldn't be a thread.

But I caught it last night. Pretty unreal. Wish, somehow, Mark Spitz could have made it out. I agreed with him that it was an insult he wasn't invited and everything.

Phelps, though - Wow. Good for him. Eight for fucking eight, world records in 7 - Spectacular.

Michael Phelps has to be one of the top 5 athletes of all time! The best thing about him is he carries himself with such class and dignity that you can't help but like him.....also he takes class at the University of Michigan! GO BLUE!
