How do you have Sheets and Peavy on this list??? Where is Sabathia?? The cat is 8-0 in the NL and if he finishes 12-0 or around there, I can't see how he isn't the best pitcher in the NL. I like Lincecum but his team is straight garbage. Same with my hometown buy Volquez. I think Webb is the run-a-way choice.

And Lincecum's crappy team is even more reason why he should win it. W-L record is a useless record but 90% of the time the pitcher with the most wins wins.

I think it's gonna be really close between Lince and Webb. Both have been awesome, but I think Webb might get the nod only because his team is better at this point. Put Lince on the D-Backs or a half decent team and he might have 22 wins at this point.

The CY Young award gets voted on just like the MVP. Most of the time they don't give it to a person on a horrible team. With Webb's team being in playoff contention, I think he wins going away.

Good job Dodgers for roughing up Webb today. Maybe it will hurt his Cy Young credentials today. 6ER in 3.1IP ERA climbs up to 3.16

Sabathia has to get it. He doesn't lose with the Brewers.

He pitched a no hitter today but got stiffed on a bad call that ruled an error a hit.

It's gotta be Webb unless he falls apart, Lincecum would get it if he were on a better team, but I don't see CC getting it for half a year. If he goes 12-0 he sneaks into the conversation, but he's gotta go 12-0 first.

I voted Lincenum only because
A) Sabathia isn't on the list and he's been amazing.
B) Every single one of Webb's losses came when I had a lot of money on them winning, so I hate him now.
I don't agree that the Cy Young should only go to a pitcher from a good team. SF sucks ass, and yet Lincenum is tied for 4th in the NL in wins, he leads the MLB in strikeouts, and he's tied for first in the MLB for ERA. PLaying for a shitty team with stats like that make it all that more impressive IMO. Lets not forget that he did this, while playing for the team with the LEAST amount of runs in baseball.
Edit: Also, Im pretty sure in the AL the candidates would be Dice K, Doc, and Lee. Besides Dice K, the other 2 play for teams who aren't in contention either, and most likely Lee wins it.
