anyone else tired of the yankees seeing amazing talent somewhere,then throwing more money than some ballclubs even have at ONE person. if you did'nt hear, the yanks may get cc sabathia at a whopping 7 yr / 161 million! that's insane

I love the fact that they spend so much money but still struggle win win The Series.

But it doesn't matter because he's just going to hurt himself anyway. AJ Burnett and consistency try to stay as far away from each other as possible.

As for the Yankee's they are the best team in baseball ..... to heckle.

I am not a Yankees fan by far but I wish there were more owners like the Stienbrenners in sports. They do whatever it takes to compete and win year after year. Don't hate on them because they make their fans happy and returning to the ballpark year after year.

It is better to have owners that care and spend their money rather than hoard money and put out terrible products. The Yankees have always spent more money than their competitors and it has helped on occasion and hurt on occasion.

Most of their titles are from half a century ago.

It doesn't really piss me off because they didn't even make it to the playoffs.

To me there's nothing better than watching, say the Yankee's, throw millions of dollars around to get all these all-stars and then faltering and not living up to any expectations. Here's to hoping the Yankee's don't make the playoffs!

I like the Jays, i know... i know, but just watching the Yankee's miss the playoffs is as good as the Jays making it, imho.

they have been throwing that money around for half a century. remember when they stole some guy name george ruth from boston for a huge chunk of change.
