It is impossible for the 2 seed to play the 6 seed in the second round. The 2 seed can only play the 8, 5, 4 and 3 seeds after the first round of the playoffs.

If the 6 seed wins and the 8 seed win, the 2 seed would play the 8 seed.

If the 6 seed wins and the 1 seed wins, the 2 seed would play the winner of the 4/5 seed.

It just one of those random things that happens because the highest remaining seed always plays the lowest remaining seed.

So they Bruins and Devils could play but only in the conference championship.

Well we are in the same boat now.

I have not totally decided who I am going to cheer for now. I think its going to be the Coyotes, just so they can have a cup before they are shipped off to Canada next year.
