I don't think he had much of a choice, but your point still holds truth haha

What a trade deadline deal that was for the Kings, Carter played great for them all playoffs

Any Philly fans here? Wonder how they feel seeing Richards and Carter, a year after they were both traded from Philly, lifting the cup together in L.A.?

Gonna be a LONG summer for Bernier

Why is there zero respect for the skill on the devils?

They have been one of the best teams in the NHL for the last two decades with very little variation...

wtf why is everybody straight up disrespectful towards their abilities?

I think it's sort of a "Jon Fitch" type of deal

The Devils have always played a defensive based, non flashy style of hockey (not unlike Fitch), so fans are reluctant to talk much about them (undeservedly)

3 Stanley cups, and a total of 5 finals appearances since 1995. The Devils, despite financial issues and trouble attracting big name free agents, have been one of the most consistent franchises of the last two decades

Because they have had these great teams and the arena is usually half empty.

They had 100+ point season, made the Stanley Cup finals and still only managed to average 87% attendance this season. How can anyone respect that fan base or team?

Tampa Bay who had a horrible season averaged 96% attendance.

Hard to respect a team when their local fan base doesn't. That's why they get ignored.

I hate that shit too. It's like fuck, not my fault no one else watches the Panthers. I got friends who cheer for the Penguins and Redwings. But we all grew up together in the same Florida town. But I get ragged for being a Panthers fan.

No issues except Karlsson winning the Norris....that is a miscarriage of justice right there...
