Ok guys we are at the half way point of the season which means teams in the playoffs right now have about an 80% chance of making in the end. With a short season the chances of making the playoffs probably goes up to 90%. I think the East is pretty much settled and the 8 teams currently in will be the 8 in the end. The West I could see the Preds making a run and making the playoffs. Anyone see someone fading out and being replaced by another team? And what are your mid season awards?

Biggest Surprise: The atlantic division. Whether it be the Sabres and how bad they been or how shockingly good the Habs have been (it really pains me to say that).
Weak blueline but uber offense when Crosby gets back from his deepthroating of a puck.
Taylor Hall just thrashed a Gretzky record of fastest hat-trick against the Canucks at 7:58 in the 1st as compared to Gretzky's 27 year old record of 12:38.
