Best case scenerio for the 'wings IMO....he stays healthy, regains some of his touch and scores 35 goals......worse case he punches somebody, breaks their neck.......just kidding....he re-lapses only plays in a handful of games and is a non factor for the season. |
i thinking if he pops 20 goals and 60 points in worth the 1.5 mil
and he adds a little grit to the wings so not that bad.they had to get someone after losing so many forwards

Well, Dany Heatly finally got his wish.......off to San Jose.
I was a big Heatly fan, but I've lost a little respect for him over this.
The Sens did the best they could under the circumstances........Cheechoo and Michalek......

Yeah, I'll actually be very suprised if Heatley doesn't return to the 50 goal club this year, he'll be playing with one of the very best set up guys in the game.
Hell, Heatley may challenge Ovechkin for the Rocket Richard trophy.

WOW, the Leafs gave up alot to get Phil Kessel last night. A 1st and 2nd pick this year, and a 1st pick next year. Neither year should generate a lottery pick, but this year could provide the B's with a top 10 pick.
Kessel scored 36 goals last year playing in 60 games on a line with Marc Savard...one of the best set up guys in the league......who the hell do the Leafs have that you can even mention in the same breath as Savard???
Nobody!!

Nobody!! | As a Bruins fan, I'm glad that this whole thing is over with. I really hate to see Kessel go but it was pretty clear that he was unhappy with everything and there was not going to be a deal good enough for him. I just wish him the best.

Was there when Nick Lidstrom got his 1,000th point on Thursday night. Standing ovation. Very special. One of the best defencemen ever to play the game.
