Yep Lidstrom is one of the best for sure!
What's happening with the 'Wings so far??? They look pretty ho-hum and not real motivated in the early part of the season.
I'm sure they'll turn it around...just not used to seeing the 'Wings in this position....not since the early 80's.

They need him back badly! | The lines are not how Babcock expected or wanted them to be. He's got some guys playing that he doesn't believe should be playing just yet. All in all I think this just a year where they have undergone some major changes and it's too early to say how it will end up by the end of the season.
The Wings have the right management and some stellar players, but they'll need to be healthy and get the right line combinations to see them reach the post season.

Holy smokes, I realize the World junior Championships isn't very big outside of Canada, but did anyone watch the Canada/U.S.A game last night???
One of the greatest Junior games ever!!! Back and forth finally going to a shoot-out.
Even though we (Canada) won, I hate the dreaded shoot-out....a shitty way to lose a hockey game!
