Wow some upsets in game 1's last night......Philly beat Jersey, Ottawa over Pitt, Colorado beat SanJose, even Phoenix over Detroit, even though Phoenix is the 4 seed I still think that will be an upset if the 'Wings were to lose.......It's only game 1 but man there is some makings for an interesting opening round.

Wings PK wasn't good enough last night.
I think Phoenix is determined to make this a physical series and it will most likely end up burning them. They took a ton of penalties and the Wings only converted on 1.The no call stick to Lidstrom's face that drew blood would have changed the game.
Even with the loss playoff hockey is great!

I'm not worried about the Wings. They're on the road. I will be interested to see how they respond Friday, though. At least we can say that for much of the game it looked like Phoenix was in trouble.

I am rooting for the Bruins to pull it off, but if they don't (which I mean they probably won't this year) I am pulling for Phoenix. How can you not root for the Coyotes this year? Easily the best story in the NHL for 2010. But anyway I need to go get some beer for tonights game. Go Black and Gold!

My boys in Montreal pulled off an overtime win in Washington - wouldn't that be a nice upset if they sent the Caps golfing.......?
