Kane's goal was very similar to Crosby's goal in the Olympics.....
Congrats to the 'Hawks....the ball has now been passed to Toronto...43 years and counting.....

The dude took them far into the playoffs and that's the thanks he gets for the organization.

Did anyone hear about the rumor to trade Savard to the Blues for the 4th round pick? WTF is up with that???

Well the Taylor Vs. Tyler debate is over....not suprised Hall went first over-all..he seems to be the more "NHL" ready, but with Edmonton having so many young wingers and needing a centerman bad, I thought they might take Seguin.

| Free agent Frenzy
A fairly big day in the free agent market.
My team (the Devils) I thought had a pretty decent day, signing Volchenkov and Tallinder...both should help the back end and Marty immensley. We lost Paul Martin, but I can live with that.....we still need another scoring winger, but that'll come.
Toronto, I thought did a pretty good job, landing Armstrong and trading for Versteeg...that should help Toronto get into the playoffs.

The Bruins did what I thought they would do, which is nothing. We have no real cap space to make a major splash even though I do love the trade for Horton. A lot of Bruins fans are mad at the idea of us moving Savard, but I think out of our 3 centers (Him, Kerjci and Bergy) Savard is the most expandable. Hopefully we free up some cap room and can make a move for another scoring winger.
Also, I can not believe how many Bruins fans are upset about getting Seguin lol. Seguin is going to be a Patrick Kane type player and better then any of our current centers. They all wanted Hall so bad they forgot that Seguin was actually ranked ahead of him.

Seguin, in 2 years is going to be a GREAT player...the Bruins will love him.
If Thomas and savard go, there is lots of cap space freed up.

Lost one of the best enforcers in the history of the NHL today.
RIP Bob Probert.
