I honestly thought this was their year, but things are looking a little gray. I still think they have what it takes to beat the Sharks or the Red Wings, but the East scares me this year. Tampa and Boston have looked amazing. I'm hoping for a 'Couver/Bruins finale. Always had a soft sport for original 6 teams.
Accept Montreal. Fuck those guys.

Accept Montreal. Fuck those guys. | Haha...........gotta love the Montreal/Toronto rivalry. Growing up in Montreal, I have equal love for your stinking Maple Leafs. So many of my friends have moved to Toronto from Montreal, but still support the Habs and hate the Leafs. I now live in Michigan, and strongly support the Wings, and still love Montreal. What's the matter.........do all of the Stanley Cup banners hanging from the rafters at The Bell Center cloud your vision??? I will remind you that the Canadiens are the winningest team in the history of sports, after the Yankees.
You have a soft spot for original 6? Then Detroit/Boston would make for the coolest matchup for the finals. Fuck Vancouver.

I live three hours away from the Ice Palace, and I'd love to go to a finals game. Honestly, the thought of attending a Stanley Cup finals game in person and being in the same building as The Cup gets my dick a little hard.

Do you know anyone you can score free tics from, or even at face value?

I looked into tix for their first home game against the Bruins (next Thursday). If you can get it before it sells out, your looking at about $70 for garbage seats. Thats upper upper bowl. Lower bowl is anywhere from $150-450. Not too bad for a play off game, but remember: this is Tampa Bay, not a real Hockey town like Montreal or Detroit.

I have no problem with the Red Wings. They were my favorite team growing up, back in the days with Yzerman, Fedorov, Coffey, and man, the best defense-man other than Bobby Orr... Niklas Lindstrom
But I still am rooting for Vancouver, just cause they're the only active Canadian team to never win a cup, and they have a great chance this year.
But to be honest, I really like watching St. Louis and Lecavalier on Tampa as well, so I hold no allegiances this year. When the Leafs don't make it, I just kinda enjoy the playoffs.
