I watched the game at a bar with the sound pretty low, and we were talking quite a bit, but it seemed like a pretty good game. Lot's of scoring chances, great goaltending, and yes, some questionable refereeing.

Game 2 was alot of fun. Great goals, especially the last one. Looking forward to game 3.

Bruins in 6. | Bruins do not have better defense. Their top pairing is better because Chara is such a beast but the second and third pairings are definitely worse than the canucks. All their pairings have someone that is very mobile that can jump up on the rush or can spring the offense with the first pass. They are very deep and dangerous offensively and defensively. On offense Bruins have size on Canucks, that's it. The Bruins forwards have good depth but lack that elite scoring threat like the Sedins. I would give a slight edge to Thomas but Luongo has also been great during the playoffs.
Canucks also has a big advantage in speed and special teams. Quote:

Outside of a prime Hasek no goaltender wins that game. Not even a prime Roy. Vancouver lost every puck battle, and left Luongo out to dry often. Take away those two games Luongo's save percentage is +.940.
The Blackhawks are not just an 8th seed. You can tell that by the fact that they gave Vancouver a bigger challenge than both the Shark and Predators. They are a verry good team.

The series is far from over, but 2 heartbreaking losses like that for the B's is gonna be hard to come back from!
this is for Masscore.....................LOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
Sorry buddy!

I really want to be happy and write a nice long thing about last nights game and how this was a turning point for the Bruins. But I just do not think they have a chance without Horton. Horton is a key piece of the top line that not only put up very good numbers as far as goals, but was also very key in the defensive aspect of the game.
Hopefully I am wrong and the Bruins can rally and win the Cup, but right now all signs point to no.
