Mike Commodore really? Think the Wings still have like 9 million in cap room and are actively trying to trade Hudler. One would think they are trying to make a play for Richards? or has my wishful thinking led me astray...?

Leafs, as much as I hate them, have improved themselves bigtime....they SHOULD make a legitimate run at the playoffs next season.

A few suprises so far this season......Ottawa playing well is a real shocker, although I don't see them keeping it up.....and Boston at the bottom of the East is a suprise.

The thing that sucks the most is a few bouces go our way and we are probably near the top of the standing.
But hey I have no reason to bitch we just won the Cup so I can't complain this season.

So the most important month in Hockey is upon us. Believe it or not the standings at the end of November more or less tell us who is going to make the playoffs. Something like 85% of the teams in the Top 8 at the end of november make the playoffs.
