Kobe is skillfully better than Lebron. Lebron's edge would be in the strength cataegory. lebron has the size and strength to smash through the lane, pick up a foul and get the and one. We've seen Kobe do this aswell, but it is not an asset to Bryants game like it is to Lebron's. I've heard alot of talk about offensive foul calling changes during this next off season. I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron's going to have to alter the way he plays to stay dominate. Without taking any credit Lebron deserves, i'd still have to say Kobe.

Kobe is more talented than Lebron, imo. Lebron is more athleticly (I have no idea how to spell that) talented than Kobe, but Kobe is more basketball talented (i.e. footwork, shooting, defense, etc.).

Lebron may have taken a hit as far as this poll goes especially after his game 5 performance (or lack thereof). Two straight yrs now he has been the best player in the league on the best team (by record) yet couldn't get it done when it mattered most. And I don't buy the 'he doesn't have a great supporting cast' argument... 127 wins in 2 yrs speaks for itself.

Now the question becomes where does he play next year? Does he go for championships or fame? It's going to be the crucial decision of his career... will he go down as one of the all-time great individual talents or will he go down as a legend in the tradition of MJ, Magic, Bird, Kobe, et al.

Below is a good article by Bill Simmons... I agree with him, Chicago would be a good place for Lebron to go.

Yeah, he makes them so good that they DON'T win championships. Damn he's good.

Only just came across this thread, I think Lebron is a better individual player but Kobe is a better team player.

Lebron is gonna sign for a team with no stars because for some reason he reckons that single-handedly winning the playoffs is better then winning it at all.
