| Congratulations to Canada.
I know there are some Canadians on this forum, so congrats on the Olympic gold medals, in both Mens and Womens Hockey. No shame in being the 2nd best hockey team in the world, second only to Canada. Can't wait until 2014!
Oh, and canadian bacon still sucks!

Wooohoo!!! Thanks!!!
It was a nail biter for sure!!! 2 great teams built in similar fashion, with similar talent. This would make for a great 4 out of 7 series!!!
Americans have nothing to hang their heads about.....they came, they played OUR game well and proved that right now the USA are certainly knocking on the door. Their recent world Jr. championship win shows that they will be a force for years!
Really though, for the most part, Canada, US, Russia, Sweden, Czechs, and even Finland, their isn't alot to chooe from. Canada certainly has the most depth, but any of these teams, with their talent and goaltending could be sitting where the Canadians are right now!

What an awesome game. I was rooting for the USA team, of course, but it was a satisfying game. Both teams played hard and it was great to see the USA team really going hard to the puck and even taking it from Canada at times.
Miller was disappointed, though he was stellar in net, I thought. Luongo played great as I thought he would.
I missed the medal presentation as my DVR ended the show just before it occurred.

Yea, this would make an epic 7 game series. I figured I should start this thread to congratulate Canada. Had we won, I would have been talking lots of shit haha. But your whole country should be proud of the entire Olympic games, yall did an amazing job hosting it.

I think all in all Vancouver did a great job. It was a little bit of a rough start, with the weather and the Georgian Luger dieing...that was tragic, but everyone rallied together!
As for a nation, we set the all-time winter olympic record with the most gold medals at a single games....14, and what a way to break the record with the boys winning gold in hockey!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great game! You could ask for it to be any better. The USA coming back from a 2-goal deficit to send it into overtime, and then Canada taking it in overtime.........was a thing of beauty! Loved the 4 on 4 in overtime. Congrats to my homeland for taking Gold, and congrats to my current country of residence for taking Silver......was great to watch.

Thanks! We as Canadians are very proud of our hockey programs and teams! It was nice seeing the mens team rebound after the preliminary lose to USA. Both games against Usa were classics! Now its time to cheer on our Canadian teams in the playoffs. Last night the Canadians beat out ovechkin and the CAps in game 7. Great game
