Hoping so too. If his neck injury is healed, the fumbles shouldn't be that much of a problem, but if it lingers then Slaton won't see too much playing time. Right now it looks like it'll be a good split of Arian Foster and Steve Slatot.

Did Brian Cushing get suspended at all? Wasn't for sure....That dude is a straight up beast!

Yeah, Brian Cushing ended up getting suspended for four games, tested positive for a banned substance. He's meeting up with Goodell again, says he has the science to prove he wasn't on 'roids.

But yeah, kid is an absolute beast.

And just a small rant. Roethlisberger gets accused of sexual assault on more than one occasion and gets suspended for six games, with a possibility to get it reduced to four.

There's video of Vince Young punching some dude at a strip club, and he gets no punishment.

Ray Maualuga drove drunk, hit a parking meter and two parked cars, got a DUI and doesn't get suspended.

Yet Cush gets suspended for a hard four games with no chance of a reduced sentence. I'm all for the commissioner being strict, there shouldn't be steroids allowed in the game, but there needs to be more consistency.

Banned substances have always been a hard four no questions asked. Punching someone in the face really does not warrent a suspension IMO. The DUI thing however yea I think if you get caught DUI there should be some form of punishment.

They need to eliminate the preseason and make it a 18 game season....it's brutal waiting this long for the start of the regular season.
