It's all good man. I guess you'd just have to enjoy racing to know where I'm coming from. I grew up around Cars and always hit up the local Drag Strip to try my luck, so Racing has a place for me.

However, it does kinda suck to watch on TV. It's a much better experience in person, but too each his own. Appreciate you not giving me crap for it. I like other sports that most people dont besides racing. Like Golf for instance, I cannot watch it and will never watch it, but I like to play, It's relaxing.

Like I said tho, too each his own. Thanks for being a good sport

No idea why people who don't like Nascar would come into a thread about Nascar and talk about how they don't like Nascar.

It was a good race dude, craziest 500 I've seen in a long time. You know it was nuts when you have the Labonte brothers, Bill Elliot, and Robby Gordon in the top 20.

honestly i cant stand racing that much anymore. its watered down compared to what it use to be. living in the heart of race country i have a lot of friends that either work for or have worked for teams and knew a lot of the drivers. i use to love the sport but i just find it hard to get into it now a days.

thats being said i did catch part of the race and it was one of the best i have seen in a long long time. the ending was crazy and i got excited when bayne won. maybe theres hope for nascar yet.

Amazing race man! Best 500 I've seen in a long time. Wished Dale Jr could of won it for his old man, but he gave it his all. I'm glad the rookie got a huge birthday present with the win and becoming the youngest driver ever to win Daytona, knocking Jeff Gordon off that seat.

I was impressed the final lap at how much Carl Edwards and his pushing buddy slingshotted and made a run for the lead from all the way back in 5th with only about 300 yards to work with.

I was also really glad to see the Labonte brothers tearing it up today as well as Robby Gordon and Bill Elliot also. I wish Mark Martin could get another win before he needs to retire, I like him alot too.

I just want to say on another note: If the Safety Measures and the Safer Barrier were not in place and we didnt have the advancement in protecting the drivers from the impacts of wrecks like we didnt back when Dale Earnhardt passed(RIP #3 Forever) I do believe a couple of the drivers that hit the wall today in the same fashion as Dale Sr may not be with us or severely injured from the impacts they took this afternoon. Matt Kenseth hit REALLY hard head-on into the wall, that one rings out the most in my mind, but I saw quite a few others besides that one.
