I like what they did with the points system and I thought I'd be into the races again. I watched almost every race in the mid to late 90's. I think it just got stale on me.
Watching a race at the track is crazy. I was at Michigan speedway a few years back in a infield drivers box that was directly above the pit location. Could look out the window and they were literally about 20ft away changing tires. We were allowed to hit the winners circle if our driver won but he came in second by a hair. Crazy cool experience!
WOOOOOT! EARNHARDT JR. TAKES THE LEAD! Hope his Dad is watching this from Heaven. If he wins today he'll tie his Dads number of wins at Daytona before the track claimed his life.
No point in watching the race until they get to about 20 laps left.
50 laps to go and it's starting to heat up. They are easing into going balls to the wall, go big or go home. Damn good racing, I have no complaints except I wish I was there.
