You can hate Detroit all you want, but I don't hate Chicago. A great young team whose only real mistake was dropping Byfuglien & Niemi in the off season. I'll never understand that. Also, I think the cup-clinching goal by Kane is the best I have ever seen.

The previous GM put the hawks in a terrible cap situation. That really forced them to purge the bottom to middle of the roster. They had to choose between sharp or niemi they kept sharp which i feel was the smart choice considering niemi only really had the one year and sharp is a beast.
I wish they could of kept niemi but at the start of the year when they picked up turco i thought they would be fine turco then played like crap but crawford has stepped in and played pretty well.
They still have to much money going to the top 4 defensemen, so Dustin albeit i really liked having him on my team had to go to make up cap space so that trade was made.
Fav Team Blackhawks been a fan since Roenick belfour and larmer and i wish roenic and amonte would of had more than one year together.
Least Fav Team. Vancouver (used to like them when they had Pavel Bure But not since then) i think there a dirty team
also don't like St Louis
and i don't like (this will be a shocker)
Detroit: mostly because the years upon years of ass kickings, the chelios situation, Federov,Yzerman, lidstrom, Osgood, Hasek and all those other great players detroit either drafted or got to go there in free agency to chase a cup those bastards but i respect the shit outta the franchise.

They acquired Hossa and Turco and kept their big 3, but let Niemi and Byfuglien go? I wouldn't have done that. Hossa is good, but I am not impressed with him from a team player angle. Niemi made huge saves for them to help secure the cup and the money he was due wasn't too much. I still don't get it.

For sure, no other rivalries compare.
I understand that you have never been to a game in Chicago. "Dee-Troit Sucks" is an anthem that will ring out at every UC/Stadium game.
It is not an indictment of your city, but rather a chant of Chicago pride that will exist as long as we are fans, even when you were kicking our ass 92-98.
You guys had about 10,000 Stanley Cups. Let us enjoy this one.

You guys had about 10,000 Stanley Cups. Let us enjoy this one. | I've been to a Blackhawks game before. Actually watched the game from one of the VIP boxes. Had a great time. The United Center is much easier to navigate than Joe Louis Arena.
Again, I'm all for rivalries, but don't get the hate. The Winter Classic game between the Wings and the 'Hawks (2009) was simply awesome. These should be great memories, not negative ones.

. | Well the Leafs Habs rivalry has alot of Hatred involved.....there is a lot of bad blood between Quebec and Ontario, Quebec and the rest of the country for that matter, but politics play an aweful big role in the Habs/Leafs rivalry.
