Most people want to go F instead of D, since it's a a deeper pool to draft from, and F's are going to get you more goals/assists then F's. But you do get points for hits as well.

And just so im getting this right, with free angency if u think your team is going to get put out u wanna dump those players and pick up free agents?..or can u do this after they are eliminated?
