Have any credible sources for Daley being referred to being the best striker at the time ? (Forum posters opinions don't count)

Edit - I'll add in that Daley is not a credible source either because a quick search of mma articles shows him as being the only source of such claims
It's not what he has done... it's what he hasn't done. Which is consistently beat top competition
What has diaz done to prove to you that he is mediocre? all you are doing is discrediting everything he has every done without being able to point to anything that proved him to be mediocre unless you consider losing to gsp and condit(barely) and not getting finished by either makes you mediocre.
A softly ranked top 10 during that time
gsp has out wrestled everyone he has ever faced literally since he avenged his only two loses. mediocre refers to generally undercard fighters diaz was clearly a top 10 fighter during his run.
They have this thing called the internet now you don't need to buy a dictionary anymore:
you should invest in a dictionary. mediocre means average or ordinary. top 10 guys aren't average run of the mill they are the elite fighters in their weight class.
1. of only ordinary or moderate quality; neither good nor bad; barely adequate: The car gets only mediocre mileage, but it's fun to drive. Synonyms: undistinguished, commonplace, pedestrian, everyday; run-of-the-mill. Antonyms: extraordinary, superior, uncommon, incomparable.
2. not satisfactory; poor; inferior: Mediocre construction makes that building dangerous. Synonyms: meager, low-quality, second-rate; so-so. Antonyms: excellent, superior.
I think you can apply the underlined and bolded parts to Nick Diaz in terms of where he ranks in the overall scheme of things as a fighter
I agree just because someone isn't a UFC champ doesn't mean they are mediocre i'm not basing my opinion off of that. I'm basing it off of Diaz being a softly ranked top 10 his string of wins coming against favourable competition and a lack of any really impressive wins.
just because someone wasn't a ufc champion doesn't mean they are mediocre. he lost to the number 1 and 2 guys in the world at the time.
