Sakuraba by sub, Couture is great but it wasnt until recently that he developed the kind of sub game you would need to fend off Sakuraba

as much as I like Saku I dont know if he can deal with randy's strenght, specially if we're talking randy at his best. of course, saku at his best was perhaps #1 p4p, so its hard to say.

since i like both guys so much, i say its a draw

Sakuraba would eventually catch Randy in some sort of submission. Couture may be the best "ring general" ever, but Saku was as dominate against the different styles as it gets. The fight probably goes close to the distance.

Couture would lay on top of Saku and pound him until he's caught in a Armbar after tiring in the 3rd rd.

yeah and imo couture is prime right now...and thats the tread in there prime...

so imo randy mops the floor with saku...a man of randys size and wrestling skill would throw saku around and pound him out...by this point in randys career which imo is his prime he wont get caught in a kamura of armbar by saku...hes to smart for that and could probably spend the night out pointing saku with his dirty boxing and takedowns...or hedd pound out the win in the 3rd round...

saku is a great fighter and was able to subb some gracies but he was bigger than them all and had that power advantage on them...with randy he'l be at the disadvantage with power...

the only Gracie that he sub'd that he was much bigger then was Royler, the other two were 185ers just like him
