Well the better team won. Chicago was the best team in hockey all year and earned the Cup. It sucks the way it ended but what are you going to do.

I hope the Bruins don't do something stupid in the offseason and try to make too many moves. This team is built to win titles and will win a few cups in the couple years. Hell most the core players are under the age of 25. So yea the Bruins will be back.

Congrats Blackhawk fans, see ya in October.

They're clutch for sure, but that last goal would get some coaches fired. He should have called a timeout so his team could regroup. Oh well, doesn't matter now. Great series, great (shortened) season.

That's what people when said when the west coast express was noticeably declining, the sedins would never be more than second liners, stone hands Kesler would never be more than a 3rd line, their defense was old and injury proof their prospect pool sucked and they had one the worst starters in the league. Not only did they not rebuild they continued to trade away picks at the deadline, and yet they went on to win back to back presidents trophies as well as going to the finals. They did that with good player development.

They have a really good top 4 D signed long term on good contracts. Tanev is a really good 3rd line defenseman that should develop into a top 4 defenseman soon. Corrado looked solid in the playoffs and the end of last season. He is only on his 2nd year of his ELC and is going to be a top 4 defenseman with in the next few years. Luongo is a workhorse and will probably be one of the better starters in the league for a while. The Sedin play a style where they don't receive a lot impact and their game isn't based on speed. They should be top liner players for a while. The core isn't too old. They mostly late 20's and early 30's. They have a few good years in them. This year is going to be tough with the cap going down and not having many ELC forwards they can count on to play crucial roles. They have guys that should be able to fill those roles next year though.

Their position isn't as dire as people are making it out to be. They definitely have enough to transition from the Sedin era to whatever there next identity is going to be.

Gillis and Feaster doing everything in their power to be labeled "Worst GM in Hockey"

With that said; Seguin and peverly traded to the Stars for Eriksson and 3 prospects.

Im still LOL'ing at all the people who said Seguin was better than Kessel the past few seasons! GO LEAFS GO!

Thomas to the Panthers. If he is up to par the Panthers could make some real noise this year. Can't want to see him line up against the Bruins. Hopefully the crowd at the Garden does the right thing and gives that man a Standing O.
