‘TUF 13’ Finale Bonuses: 4 Fighters Bank $40,000 Apiece

Four fighters walked away from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas with an extra $40,000 in their pockets Saturday, as Kyle Kingsbury, Fabio Maldonado, Tony Ferguson and Reuben Duran were each awarded post-fight bonuses at “The Ultimate Fighter 13” Finale.

Kingsbury and Maldonado took home “Fight of the Night” honors, while Ferguson and Duran were awarded “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” for their respective wins over Ramsey Nijem and Francisco Rivera.
Ferguson got that bonus for winning the competition and ending the show with that KO. When it comes to brutal KO's though, Scott had the best one of the night. The Maldonado/Kingsbury fight was ugly but I think Maldonado should have got the win as well as Justin Edwards in his fight. Crazy to see Guida not win a bonus on a fight night for once.

Kinda glad Guida didn't get it. Maldonado vs Kingbury were really letting everything fly....even the Chris Cope fight was was more of a Fight of the Night than the Guida fight.

Pettis showed some signs of greatness, but Guida muscled and grinded him out.

I think the UFC would rather reward that Maldonado fight than the Guida one. And yeah...Maldonado could have gone either way....that might be another reason they decided to give it to those guys.

Guida makes good money now...he will already make about $65k for winning (30something to show and 30something to win) He made $62k last fight + the Sub bonus.

Definitely think Jorgenson's KO was better, was a crazy punch from the guard, hardly ever see that. Was a decent event, was bummed to see Pettis lose but he just got out wrestled, not much else about it.

I was hoping short fuse would get the KO bonus but I cant argue with Ferguson getting it.

Wow can't believe a KO straight from full guard didn't get it!

I thought the body punch might get it actually
Why is it ok to standup 2 ground specialists as soon as the crowd starts booing, but they'll never restart them in the missionary position no matter how much 2 guys dance around each other?
