What promotion are they "supposedly" going to do this fight in? I have a hard time believing the UFC would do this, so curious to what show is gonna do it.

Oh man Toney better not get the KO. He will take it and run with it... all we will hear about from him and the mma haters is how he just proved boxing is superior to mma.

Looks like it possibly might be a mixed rules fight...

This is sounding even more and more like a freak show ... Lets hope stand up only isnt the first round...

Out of respect for both fighters let me simply say: pass, not interested.

Of course it's going to be stand up for the first round only. Thats the only chance James has. HAHAHAHA This is horrid.

I hope this isn't 'mixed rules'.

The mixed rules fight with Aoki v Nagashima was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen - I never thought I would have to watch Aoki attempt WWE style 'dropkicks'

Why not start the first round on the ground?...Or better yet, have every round under MMA rules, theres an idea! lol

A winnable fight for both guys, imo Toney's boxing style doesn't translate well to MMA. He stands in front of guys and bobs and weaves and makes them miss and hit him in the arms and shoulder, which doesn't really work if the guy can just grab you and toss you on the ground. He is also primarily a counter puncher; he doesn't just explode on guys and take them out, he needs his opponent to throw first to really hurt them.
