I agree with you. Lets let these two win a few more fights so that when they do square off again it can mean something more. Maybe a number 1 contender fight or just let them get another win or two to make it more intense.

Rory is just being a bitch imo. You don't wanna fight Gsp? Go to mw, he is a huge ww and walks around at 200lbs. I'd like to see him face Weidman if he moves up.
Actually it would be a "bitch" thing to do to want a fight against the guy who helped develop your career into what it is today.

So instead you want him to move up a weight class when he has all kinds of good fights because he walks around at 200lbs like alot of the WW do and you want him to fight a guy who cuts to 185... yeah that makes sense

I agree. If they do fight I want it to be a 5 rounder. I want to see Condit put the cocky Rory in his place

I doubt many ww walk at 200lbs, even gsp I believe walks around 190lbs. What's the point in him detailing potential contenders if he's not gonna challenge for the title ? Just a cowardice thing imo. You feel comfortable and confident in your skillset to beat up on smaller opponents, why not test yourself where you can go for a title?

What if Rory wins? I mean, is he just going to keep winning and not getting a title shot? He says he won't fight GSP.

Because that strategy has worked so well for a guy like BJ Penn? 2-5-1 at the higher weight class speaks otherwise. Rory is fine at WW, he hasn't derailed any contenders yet so I consider it a non issue. He can ride the coat tails of GSP for the next couple of years fighting top guys that Georges has already beat and it shouldn't hurt the division. If it becomes an issue, they can cross that road when they come to it. Maybe at that point Georges will want to move up in weight class. Maybe Georges will be ready to retire. Who knows because we're not there yet.

Don't most MW walk around at 215+. Isn't Silva is 220+. 200 seems very small for walk around weight for MW.

He has zero wins at 170 against top 10 competition, no clue why people are talking about him having to move divisions. Some of you guys are worse than women watching enterainment shows discussing who is dating who.

Rory is 23 and I think Condit is the only top 10 guy he has fought.
The BJ Penn fight was very impressive (except for the Ali crap), but BJ has been on a decline for a long time and I don't think even cuts weight for ww.

Rory needs to beat several top 10 guys before us worrying about him and GSP fighting. By the time that happens, GSP will be a couple years older, and who knows if he will still be fighting or even have the belt at that point.

Who cares if he doesn't fight for the belt while GSP is around, there are 3 or 4 years of interesting fights for him with current roster and new fighters will appear over the horizen.

doesnt make sense for rory to dodge the gsp fight if he wants to face the recent number one contender, meanwhile gsp wants to fight losers, its all just alittle too chaotic, i think the kos/rory fight makes more sense unless gsp faces anderson next
