    Invicta FC held their weigh-ins Friday for their fourth event set to take place on Saturday, Jan. 5. Friday's weigh-ins took place at the Aladdin Holiday Inn in Kansas City, Missouri.

    In the headlining bout, Carla Esparza and Bec Hyatt each made the strawweight limit of 115 pounds or less for their title bout on Saturday. In the co-main event, Strikeforce veteran Shayna Baszler and Alexis Davis made the bantamweight limit of 136 pounds or less.

    The only fighter to not make weight was Veronica Rothenhausler, who failed to reach the featherweight limit of 146 pounds (145 pounds with a one pound allowance).

    Invicta 4 features a thirteen-bout fight card comprised entirely of female combatants. It airs Saturday on Internet pay-per-view beginning at 7 p.m. ET from Memorial Hall in Kansas City.

    * Rothenhausler did not make weight on either the first or second attempt. She will have two hours to make the weight or forfeit a portion of her purse and potentially the match.

    I'll be honest, I've never watched an Invicta card. Who is Ediane Gomes? Is he any good? That guy looks scary.

    This is where all the female fighters need to be instead of just two in the UFC. Cyborg, Rousey, Liz all need to be there, put all female fighters under the same banner until WMMA becomes more well known instead of spreading them out.

    She looked very good for being her first pro fight.

    i was cheering for bec being a fellow aussie. Her standup looked pretty legit but she just had 0 answer for those takedowns. Still she looked good, hopefully she can improve and come back stronger.

    And i have to say, she is fuckin HOT !
