    I don't get that one.

IMO, BFC should want to bring somebody in to challenge Askren with top tier cred, not just some fighter who Ben is going to grapplefuck for five rounds. It gives his claim as a top WW more cred, Fitch is a pretty big name and IF Fitch were to have won, I think it spices up the division, as Askren has run unopposed for such a while now.

I think Bellator missed a huge opportunity here to really showcase their welterweight division as a world class division. They did so when Roger Heurta lost to Eddie Alverez, and they could have done so again with a superfight between fitch and Askren, ok maybe it would not have been very exciting, but could you imagine Ben Saunders or Paul Daley Ko'ing Fitch? Fitch is a huge scalp, a legit top ten welter and they passed him by. Big mistake IMO.

If I were to be completely realistic in my films, you would call me a violent, bloody man. I would simply destroy my opponent by tearing his guts out. I wouldn't do it so artistically." ~Bruce Lee

I will bet you literally anything you want to bet that you are wrong. I'll even give you 3-1 on a name change bet. If he is at/below .500 I will change my name to whatever you want for 3 months. If he is above .500 your name will be Fitch=Excitement for a month. Deal?

Boom! However, I don't believe Sak makes or takes bets.

They also run the risk of Fitch running through their division making it look like a tier 2 division.

Fitch grapplefucked Saunders out of the UFC (I believe that was his last UFC fight) and I don't see how a Daley fight would be any different than the Kos fight, just less trash talk and less after the bell punches.

I somewhat think he got a crooked deal from Dana and I imagine it's all stemming from the AKA issues with Zuffa about 5 years ago. Dana is a tough business man and I doubt he forgot about that.

Well at least one person does.

I don't gamble. It's pointless. I'm fine with the finger pointing and I told you so's though if he wants to go that route.

But people are insane to not at least understand that there are a TON of hungry ass killers out there who will look to make their names off of Fitch. There's a reason not many people get the chance to come back to the UFC. Fitch has shown over his last few fights that he can be out wrestled by a black belt, out wrestled by a LW, and can be detached from reality in one punch.

Does Fitch have the drive to be the best in a lower tier organization? I'm not sure about that. He's already stated he has been fighting for money now which is the wrong reason to fight.

Yeah I doubt that. If Bellator is trying to compete with the UFC, they want name value, which Fitch has regardless of his fighting style

Besides, their champ is Ben Askren haha

I'm sure if Fitch wanted to go to Bellator it wouldn't have been an issue
