It didn't take long for former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Mike Kyle to end his retirement. The 32-year-old is returning to the heavyweight division on May 24th in Florida, and he'll fight fellow ex-Strikeforce man Valentijn Overeem. MMA Junkie has the details:

A heavyweight bout between former Strikeforce fighters Mike Kyle (19-9-1) and Valentijn Overeem (32-30) is set for Championship Fighting Alliance's 11th event, which is slated for May 24 at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

CFA CEO Jorge de la Noval today confirmed the news with MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps) and added that talks are underway to air the event live on AXS TV.
