I kind of saw something like this coming as soon as they announced that it was going to be Australia vs Canada. The two countries don't really have strong representatives in the same weight division that could have a fight that would make sense.

Nope, Lombard should be able to put him away quite handily.

I don't imagine it'll be any worse than Aus vs UK

Hector Lombard: Interview with Hector Lombard, MMA Fighter

When I moved to Australia in 2000 I started working out at a gym. A guy there told me I should fight. The transition was pretty easy with me given my background and I like to box. I became an Australian citizen and got married there.

over/under lombard missed weight? Cause i have a weird feeling cutting the extra 15 pounds is going to be a challenge for a guy his size / his age (35). We'll see though, maybe he will get Dolce to help him make the cut?

I know he was doing test cuts, and I'm pretty sure I heard Dolce was helping him. I'm sure it'll be fine.

How could he resist giving Dolce a call after seeing those new infomercials?...

I just dont think Cote has much fight left anymore..Sucks seeing him put on weak performances now, and I think he'll get viciously KO'd here. Like both guys a lot but not looking good for Cote.

Zuffa should use the TUF platform to stage a season-long "anger management" intervention for Lombard. Hector having a full emotional breakdown on Dr. Phil's couch might be the only way I'm watching TUF: Australia vs Canada.

Hector's reputation for being the 'gym bully' precedes him. It will be most interesting to see how long it takes him to KTFO somebody on camera--wouldn't be surprised if it's one a contestants on his own team in a sparring session gone horribly wrong.

Can't wait to see Hector's coaching prowess.
