UFC on Fox Sports 1: Condit vs. Kampmann fight card shaping up - Bloody Elbow

UFC on Fox Sports 1: Condit vs. Kampmann, which is also known as UFC on Fox Sports 1 2, is shaping up to be an excellent free card. The second event on FS1 will take place on August 28th in Indianapolis, and features a rematch of one of my all-time favorite fights on top. Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann will tussle in a welterweight bout that will likely be just as good as the first. The probable co-main sees lightweight stalwart Donald Cerrone taking on the rising Rafael dos Anjos. The card is full of other prospects and names from TUF, and should be pretty good.

Here's a look at the current card (no bout order has been set as of yet):

    Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann
Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael dos Anjos
    Kelvin Gastelum vs. Paulo Thiago
    Sarah Kaufman vs. Sara McMann
    Takeya Mizugaki vs. Erik Perez
    Court McGee vs. Robert Whittaker
    Bubba McDaniel vs. Brad Tavares
    Darren Elkins vs. Hatsu Hioki
    James Head vs. Bobby Voelker
    Justin Edwards vs. Brandon Thatch

Solid card. Not great but pretty good. I look forward to the rematch.

Not a ton of star power but the potential for AWSOME fights. In addition to Kampmann/Condit, I'm really looking forward to seeing:

    Kelvin Gastelum vs. Paulo Thiago
    Sarah Kaufman vs. Sara McMann
    Court McGee vs. Robert Whittaker
    Bubba McDaniel vs. Brad Tavares

I think Condit comes back in devastating fashion here. 2 Losses in a row I doubt the NBK is willing to suffer a 3rd one.

Man, I'm pretty excited for these fights actually. These are the kind of sleeper events that aren't stacked with a lot of huge names, but have a bunch of matches with the potential to be great fights.

Condit vs. Kampmann can only be a win for the fans. NBK for the win via flying armbar.
