    You would think one of the event capitals would love to have events of this caliber in their town, this is just confusing. They have boxing at MSG almost every Cinco de Mayo so why not have the larger draw of the UFC for one of the big events. Fertitta has already promised that they will have a UFC 100 caliber card at NYC when able.

    What is the point? This is cutting off your nose in spite of your face. All the fans in your state are just watching it on TV while the other cities are making millions in revenue.

    And why the fuck should the UFC reward NYC with an amazing card after being such uptight assholes for so long? They should reward cities like Denver and Atlantic City for taking them in when they were a fringe sport.

    So I just saw on the latest episode of Inside MMA where Dana blamed corruption in NY politics for the inability to legalize MMA in their state. I couldn't help but be amazed that the UFC was able to deal with the Yakuza in the past yet cannot make leeway with New York. Craziness.
