    I'd hope to see Lamas get the next shot regardless and Cub gets the winner of Edgar/DoBronx. Can't imagine that actually happens though.

    Lamas won their first match-up quite convincingly and has only gone on to beat higher competition in two former #1 contenders in Koch and Hioki, I don't think that match makes much sense now.

    IMO, Lamas/Mendes is the only #1 contender fight that I can envision, and even then, I think Lamas has already earned his shot(despite my belief that Mendes takes it and probably beats every other FW outside of Aldo).
