    UFC top 10 at LHW:

    1 Lyoto Machida (Finished)
    2 Alexander Gustafsson (Next fight)
3 Glover Teixeira (should be next fight after Goose)
4 Rashad Evans (5 round decision that wasnt close at all)
5 Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (no where close to a title shot)
6 Dan Henderson (2 fight losing streak - not close to title shot anymore)
    7 Mauricio Rua (Finished)
8 Phil Davis (Working his way back up, still 2 fights or more away from a title shot)
9 Gegard Mousasi (Dropped to MW if im not mistaken)
    10 Ryan Bader (Finished)

What else is there for him to do at 205 pounds? Clear out the "top contenders" a second time?
    In Order:
    - Machida (promised a title shot along time ago)
    - Gustafason
    - Glover
    - Lil Nog (he did beat Rashad)
    - Phil Davis
    - Thiago Silva
    - Anderson Silva (likely to happen anytime after Gustafason)
    - I would like to see Jacare move to lhw
    Anderson Silva:
    Best Fighter on the planet.

This post wins the thread, well played sir. Hell, it might be good for the overall health of these guys to pack on a few in between camps. can't stay at peak 24/7 or your body will start breaking down, unless you are juicing. thats something else entirely though.

edit: RD, your sig has had me captivated for several minutes now. i dont give 2 shits that statistics finally caught up with silva, watching him shame his opponents is one of the greatest joys in my life. and that series of exchanges against bonnar exemplifies that. and after reading what i just typed i have to wonder if im a decent person after all....

He looks horrible now but in a couple of months he will be ripped as hell.
Not only brazilians can do this stuff

I hope this isn't too big, because it's awesome.

The bold names are the only ones i could see happening - with the exception of Machida. He got smashed by Jones, and is 3-3 in his last 6 fights with 2 of his wins coming against 40+ year old guys. I honestly think he needs 1 or 2 fights against real top 5 guys (i.e Glover / Goose / or even Phil Davis depending how you rank him). Im not sure why the 1-2-2 Thiago Silva made your list same with lil nog (ive had more fun watching paint dry than Nog / Evans fight) and no disrespect to Davis but wins over Vinny and Wagner Prado dont promote you to title consideration - a win against Machida sure would though.
