Default Rony Jason vs. Jeremy Stephens targeted for unannounced UFC Fight Night 29 event

    http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/0...night-29-event

A featherweight matchup between Rony Jason (13-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Jeremy Stephens (21-9 MMA, 8-8 UFC) has been targeted for as as-yet-unannounced event expected to serve as UFC Fight Night 29.

The bout is expected to take place on Oct. 9 in Brazil, at a city and venue to be determined. The night's main card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1, but official plans have yet to be revealed.

The Jason vs. Stephens contest was first reported by MMAWeekly.com, and Stephens also took to Facebook to confirm his participation.

"Looks like my first trip to Brazil will be fighting in hostile territory on a UFC main card," Stephens wrote. "Now we just need a certain someone to confirm to lock this up."

Tons of FOTN potential. Stephens has just been too inconsistent to get on board with, I'll take Jason for the win here.

    FGP another sig bet?
I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

I kinda think your set on Shogun beating Chael but i don't have faith in Chael fighting Shogun like I did him fighting andy. I think Shogun has better TDD & ground game then Andy I also find him more aggressive twords the lower body and with knee's which also prevents the TD.

Hahaha, I like Shogun for the fight, but have learned never to lay bets on Shogun until weigh-ins.

Only fights I'm really sold on right now are Faber, Barnett, Mendes, Teixeira, Benny, Barao, Cormier, GSP, not too many others I'm sold on sig betting and that includes my boy Jacare against the ever tough Okami. I'll take Jacare over Okami if you're interested.
